I do this from time to time. When I’m approaching an intersection or a turn that causes me to cross the When in doubt go workout gym weightlifting T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this street, and I know I’ve been dicked there before from doing my lane change due to “the faster” drivers from letting me do so, I’ll force the issue. I do a lot of driving in Sacramento, San Francisco, and LA. If I’m ‘through traffic”, meaning I’m not getting off at any exits, I stay as far to the left as possible until I’m a couple miles from my exit (depending on traffic). However, if I’m slower than other people want to go in the left lane and if the number 2 lane is not at a dead crawl, I get over. How I figure it is that I’m taking the path of least resistance, which feels safest and most efficient when you do a lot of driving in high traffic areas. But I also did a lot of driving in Europe, so I respectfully get over if other cars in the left lane want to drive faster than me. Judge me if you want! the only time i linger in the left hand lane is at night time when the road is mostly empty. Even then ill gladly move out of the way of hyper speeders. i will not incriminate myself on my speed average incase of law enforcement.

The reason i do it? Simple. i live in deer country and those dumb mother [email protected]#[email protected] will jump right out of tall grass/treelines and run right into my car which would total it or potentially kill me at high speeds. I want every bit of advanced warning i can get to avoid them or any other significantly large wild life. Because everybody where I’m from drive in the When in doubt go workout gym weightlifting T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this left and right lanes. Slow people In the right, fast in the left. You literally can’t use the left lane as a passing lane if more people are in the left lane than the right lol. (Also I never drive slow in the left lane so never have anyone trying to get past me unless they’re going literally like 20-30mph+ above the speed limit) It depends. If there are multiple turning lanes and intersections in the left lane I’m not going to move over. Lot of people think this applies to normal roads. I do it by mistake occasionally. Got passed a couple times and think “oh shit! I’m getting passed, I should get over!”
