And not everything is necessarily better. I remember that refugee assistance volunteer telling me about a guy who found our city very isolating; like, where were all the Ted ellis neck deep split head 2022 classic shirt moreover I love this people? They just got in their cars and went from place to place. Nobody talked to each other on the street. No sense of community or socialization in public. Everyone just in their own little world with their own small group. Very different from his old home. And if you don’t feel welcome or are treated poorly, that can make a hard situation much worse or even intolerable. So 4/5 don’t. It’s never gonna be 100% without regret. They’re leaving their homes and families. I’d say they’re pretty good stats considering.. This phenomenon of regretting past times is encountered everywhere, in all societies. It’s a human characteristic. There are, for example, people that regret the comunist times in my country, Romania, after more than 30 years since its fall. Evidently these are people that were at least 20 in 1990, had their first sexual experiences, had just married, had kids, moved to their apartment, things that set some psihological and social marks in their lives, they experienced a brief period of “good life” that eventually after that moment went down. The period after 1990 was not pink, economical distress affected everybody, is was the equivalent of “wild west” for the entire nation. Not everybody had the mental discipline and strength to cope with all that, their lives went from good to worse and very bad in a matter of months and maybe two years. The comunist president Ion Iliescu (still a comunist at heart and ideology) gave away to people the apartments that were mostly state owned, sold them for about three months average salaries. So everybody found themselves home owners without having to take loans and pay for 20-30 years. It was an act of kindness that resembled the comunist times kindness. After that, everything went into hard recession. And suddenly people had to think and act hard for themselves, something they were not used to, and that scared the people. Suddenly nobody told them what to do, how to do, and they had no ideea what to do with their lives. There was no proper education and mindset to change their skills and eventually get another job, when the comunist factories were shut down. All in all, just few years back they were fine, somebody looking after them, no competition. Most just retired at the age of 50-55, because the government introduced laws that allowed “early retirement”. The state pension fund has been in regression for three decades, subfunded, such that now, in 2022, one employed person pays the pension to a retired person. A 1:1 system cannot go that far. Younger generation just leaves the country for better opportunities in the west. So imagine that in Romania there are hundreds of thousands of people still alive that have not worked for the past 32 years and obviously are nostalgic about the times when they fared better. They do not see the advancement of the country in all levels, especially the GDP being 7 times larger than in 1990. It was better in my days …

It’s like, out of these 5 people, this one guy’s legs and right arm regret coming, his left arm and head love it though I would imagine it would be extremely difficult to adjust to a life that you know absolutely nothing about. Especially when you are completely alone, and everyone you know is left behind. Yeah, it literally is the Ted ellis neck deep split head 2022 classic shirt moreover I love this same mental transition as a slave escaping. Ppl under totalitarianism r not raised to b individuals, they cannot easily cope w the loss of the entire way they used to see the world. Add to that instantly jumping into the 21st Century the second they hop the border and going into a super pro-everything that NK hates country, their entire life before leaving has to b turned meaningless and rejected, which is hard as fuck They’re literally two different countries. I’d say 20% of immigrants going to any foreign country would also probably fail to adjust or adapt.
