I like the Eat Sleep Train Repeat Gym Vintage T-Shirt But I will love this ones in the left lane that are driving along, I’m going 80 on cruise, i move to the right just cruising along and they speed up, then slow down because they are varying their speed they don’t know how to use cruise control (too technical) so they keep slowing down then think you are trying to pass again then speed up to get past you…extremely common in california Turning on lights in rain is also a law, but 60% usa drivers does not give a fuck, there are cops driving in rain with lights off…. no common sense and no enforcement…. To be completely honest sometimes I get over into the passing lane and forget I am there. I usually drive well over the speed limit (as close to legal as possible) so it is more convenient to remain in the left lane for while. If someone comes screaming up on my ass, it makes me remember I am in the left lane and I move over ASAP.

I live in Virginia. People assume the Eat Sleep Train Repeat Gym Vintage T-Shirt But I will love this left lane is the ‘fast lane’. However if you ask any traffic cop they’ll tell you the speed limit remains the same. I’ve lived here for most of my life. Outside the state I see ‘X lane passing only’ signs frequently. I’ve never seen it in Virginia. So my assumption is maybe they learned to drive in a state that didn’t in fact have passing lanes and assume they’re all the same speed. Probably because in two miles I’m making a left while pulling my trailer and since no one is polite to let in someone with their blinker now u deal w the society u created. In my state on the highway it is essential 60 mph right lane, 70ish middle lane, 80 left lane. And it works. Most people do use the left lane to pass if the middle lanes 70 was too slow for them. All traffic depending ofc I only do it if people in the right lane are going slower than the speed limit. I’ve gotten one too many speeding tickets and I’m not going any faster Best day ever was when I was driving home on the highway late at night, and this guy would not get out of the left lane. We were the only 2 on the road for a while, until a cop pulled up, followed for about a mile, and then pulled the dude over. I was so happy, I actually yelled in delight!!! Same reason people will tailgate you at 85mph demanding that you make way for them: everyone feels like they “own” their little piece of the freeway and that they alone know the correct speed to drive. Anyone going slower than them is an asshole, and anyone going faster than them is a maniac.
